About Tom
For the past 35 years Tom Duffy has been self-employed in the design and making of beautiful things. From Furniture ["Bench" in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts permanent collection and frequent author for Fine Woodworking and Fine Homebuilding Magazines] to designing/making paper constructs. From self-schooling in hand woodworking tools to the introduction of laser cutting and engraving technology in his work in 2002, his only requirement is to do the best work possible.
Clients include private individuals, designers, architects, artists and various committees. His ability to aid the client in articulating what is wanted is among his favorite skills. Clients are unanimously pleased with his efforts on their behalf.
